General Description of Class:
This Class will show you how to make chicken entrees using both bone in and boneless chicken. You will learn some techniques for how to cut up a whole chicken, how to skin a chicken, and how to bone chicken. We will cook chicken in a pot, in a sauté pan, and broil chicken also. Techniques for using a French knife and a boning knife will be taught and there will be procedures like braising, stewing, browning, deglazing, and finishing chicken dishes. We are also going to try a Bananas Foster, which may seem extravagant, but is really quite easy to prepare and very exciting for your guests when they share a meal at your home.
